The Author/ Illustrator, H. R. Manske, was inspired to create Doppys after her son was born. He was the match that lit her creative fire!

She loved being a kid and was nicknamed "Harleigh Pan" because she never wanted to grow up.

But of course, we all have to grow up, but she remains in touch with her inner child by writing, illustrating, and creating for kiddos!
